REGARDING
AVAILABILITY OF FAMILY WELFARE SERVICES IMMUNIZATION, CARE OF
MOTHER DURING PREGNANCY, CHILDBIRTH, POST DELIVERY CARE, TEMPORARY
AND PERMANENT METHODS OF CONTRACEPTION
All
children born should get vaccination as per immunization
schedule of Delhi against nine vaccine preventable diseases namely,
Tuberculosis,
Diphtheria, Whooping cough (pertusis), Tetanus,
Polio, Measles, Mumps,Rubella and Hepatitis-B.
To eradicate Polio special and additional rounds of
Pulse Polio are carried out from time to time. All
children below the age of five years are administered polio
vaccine on immunization day and uncovered
children are vaccinated by carrying out House-to-House
immunization activities.
